When I drink green tea, I will usually use about 1 1/2 cup of water, after it is brewed for about 5 to 7 minutes it goes down to about a cup. I used about one tablespoon of green tea leaf and half of tablespoon of peppermint tea herb. I will let the herb seat in the boiling water for about 7 minutes to infuse. After I take the herbs out and make sure all the herb is filtered out of it, I will add a tablespoon of honey. The taste usually is just right for me, make your tea just the way you like it. You can use the color of the brew to see if it is ready. Usually, you know just the right color you preferred. You just follow a simple step by picking your herb, measuring your water level, and adding any extra enhancer for flavor.
