Homemade Ayurvedic Herbal Hair Strengthening Spray

Adding strength to your curls is necessary to retain the length so you can grow longer hair. Adding a leave-in conditioner is great, but you may need a little more if you have dry, brittle hair. One of the best-kept hair care secrets is using ayurvedic herbal remedies to add strength to your hair and help grow new healthy hair. So a great homemade product to create is a leave-in moisturizer to spray your hair throughout the week. The nourishing herbs will bond to the hair strands to add much-needed nutrients. Your reconstructive spray will contribute to reducing breakage and split ends to keep a head full of healthy hair.

The best part is how easy it is to make one at home with just a few ingredients. You will have a moisturizer that is free of alcohol, paraben and all other fillers to strengthen and protect your hair.

Ingredients: - 1/2 cup of Water - 1/2 cup of Aloe Vera Gel - 1 tbsp. of Henna Powder - 1 tsp. of Amla Powder - 1 tsp. of Brahmi Powder - 1 tsp. of Shikakai Powder - 7 drops of Tea Tree Essential Oil - 1 tsp. of Extra Virgin Olive Oil - 1 tsp. of vitamin E oil - 1/2 tsp. of vitamin C Powder - 2 Licorice Root Capsule

How To Prepare: Bring the 1/2 cup of water to a boil and remove it from the stove and immediately add your powders. Allow the powders and water to sit for 5 hours to infuse and cool down to room temperature. After the 5 hours are over, use a cheese cloth to strain the water and separate the remaining powders. Afterward, add the aloe Vera gel and the other oils and ingredients to the bottle and give it a good shake. Now you are done! All you have to do is store this in a cool place and spray your hair throughout the week. The amount of ingredients makes about 15oz of spray that usually lasts me about 1 1/2 week or two at the most. Adjust the amount to how often you moisturize and how much hair you have.

How to use:

After every wash day spray your hair all over with the reconstructive spray all over to make sure it is all saturated. Now add your leave in and other products to moisturize and seal your strands. Throughout the week moisturize your hair in the morning and before bed to keep it from drying out. Remember to moisturize when your hair needs it, so if you need it less often keep your moisturizing routine going.
